lots of gas

I’m currently in my early twenties and a friend of mine made fun of me because he said that I was farting all the time and he said that wasn’t normal
What can I start taking in terms of supplements to help with gas problems
it seems to be happening to me a lot lately and I would like to take something that will help with it
