any tricks to lowering side effects on cycle?

I never believe how many side effects there were on a steroid cycle until I recently did my first.
Not only did I have some estrogen problems which were solved by using an AI but I also had a lot of cramps and pumps which were hurting my work outs.
My back was tightening up and I was getting some severe issues when I would bend over.
In the future is there a supplement that I can take to help with these side effects
